Two things worth checking

  • Read the serial number straight off the back of the card — one wrong digit and the top-up goes nowhere.
  • A card holds up to AED 150, so pick an amount that fits under the cap.
  • Credit is valid for three months, so there is no need to top up far ahead.

Seeing the new balance

Tap the card on a bus reader or a recharge machine and the new balance appears. Credit added online can take up to two hours to reach the card.
